Wanderlust? planning a vacation? or just looking for ideas?
We are not travel bloggers sharing our story; or retirees travelling the country in an RV; or people who sold everything to travel the world. Although we do love following a number of those sites to get ideas. We are a typical family with a house, mortgage, cars, kids, sports, schools, jobs, taxes, a dog and a few weeks of vacation a year – who love to travel. So we spend a LOT of time planning our trips to be sure we make the most of our time; and see and experience as much as we can.
Our goal is simply to share those notes and travel itineraries for what we call – upscale adventures with unique activities in unexpected places. We also want to provide a place for others to add comments, notes or feedback on any of the itineraries or destinations where it may help others or where you might recommend other suggestions from your own travels.
Accommodations, dining and activities will vary of course based upon budgets – but national parks, beaches, hiking trails, waterfalls and mountains are the same for everyone. Wherever possible we will try to suggest alternatives for all budgets but the inspiration, links, maps and notes are designed to help almost anyone plan an amazing vacation.
